He also puts absolutely no emotion into anything, even when the work gives explicit cues for the emotion the voice should be expressing (".Raistlin said harshly"). The version I was listening to was narrated by John Polk, who did a pretty good job. So I decide to buy a copy on Audible and to my dismay I find that for some reason the Audible version has a different narrator. I'm on War of the Twins and the audiobook version I have of it is seriously degraded, lots of blips and skips and most of the ending is missing. Originally planned as a six-book series, The Wheel of Time spans 14 volumes, in addition to a prequel novel and two companion books. This time I'm listening to them on Audiobook as I've been doing a lot of driving. ![]() I'm re-"reading" the Weis & Hickman books, which I Originally read 20-15 years ago, before reading the newer stuff for the first time. ![]()
